Overview
This machine is FARUI brand FR-1907 Abrasion tester, which is suitable for wear resistance test of leather, fabric, paint, paper, floor, plywood, Glass, natural rubber and other materials. The method includes cutting the test piece with a standard cutter, using the specified type of abrasive wheels and loading a certain weight for abrasion, and observing the condition of the test piece or calculating the weight difference after reaching the specified number of revolutions.
Features
1. Provide a variety of abrasive wheels models to choose from: H18, H22, CS17, S32, S33.
2. Electronic display 6-digit counter, support automatic shutdown function.
3. Rotation speed of test disc adjustable range 0-70.
4. Support a variety of load options: 250g, 500g, 1000g.
Principle
The specimen is cut with a standard cutter, and the abrasion test is carried out under the load weight using the specified type of abrasive wheels. The counter records the number of revolutions and automatically stops when the set value is reached. The wear resistance performance is evaluated by observing the wear condition of the specimen or calculating the weight difference before and after the test.
Applications
Leather, Fabric, Paint, Paper, Flooring, Plywood, Glass, Natural Rubber
Standards
DIN-53754、53799、53109、52347、TAPPI-T476、ASTM-D1044、D3884、ISO-5470
Steps
1. Cut the specimen with a standard cutter.
2. Select the specified type abrasive wheels and load the specified weight.
3. Set the counter revolutions and start the test.
4. Automatically stop after reaching the specified number of revolutions and take out the specimen.
5. Observe the condition of the specimen after grinding or calculate the weight difference.
Notice
• The size of the specimen must meet the 120 × 6.5 × 3mm specification.
• Select the correct type of abrasive wheels according to the material type.
• Make sure the load setting is accurate: 250g, 500g or 1000g.
• Power Supply is AC220V/50HZ, pay attention to voltage matching.
• Rotation speed of the test disc is adjustable, which needs to be set according to the standard.
