Overview
The Netherlands TQC SP1880 Impact Tester is a dedicated test test equipment for testing the impact resistance and flexibility of coatings. The equipment has a dual scale with a special indicator to ensure that the distance of each impact test is in accordance with the standard. The built-in level is used to correct the positioning. The maximum test plate thickness is 45mm.

Principle
The SP1880 Impact Tester evaluates the impact performance and flexibility of coatings by releasing a weight of a specific height to free fall the punch on the test specimen. The device controls the impact energy by adjusting the height limit ring, and a built-in level ensures Smoothness of the test platform.

Steps
1. Check whether the equipment is placed horizontally, all parts are installed correctly, and select the appropriate diameter punch
2. Press the red button to raise the punch and place the test sample on the die holder
3. Gently lower the weight to the punch and adjust the catheter to keep the 0 scale level with the drop weight bracket
4. Ensure that the punch can be raised and the drop weight can slide freely on the duct
5. Adjust the height limiting ring to the scale line of the desired height for testing
6. Raise the drop weight and lock it with release pliers
7. Release the release clamp in a safe state to drop the drop hammer
8. Press the red button to remove the test sample
9. Check coating condition
