Overview
CNSHP NDJ-5 coated 4 Viscometer is a Portable Viscometer, easy to use and stable performance. Its flow cup body and outlet are made of corrosion resistant stainless steel, mainly used to determine the kinematic viscosity of Newtonian or near-Newtonian fluid coatings, and can also be used for comparative measurement as required.

Principle
By measuring the time required for the measured liquid to flow out of the flow cup hole, the kinematic viscosity value is calculated according to the formula γ = (t-6)/0.223. Where γ is the kinematic viscosity value (mm ²) and t is the outflow time (30s ≤ t ≤ 100s).
Steps
1. Install the flow cup: place the flow cup in the ring of the cross arm
2. Adjust the level: adjust the horizontal bolt of the platform to center the circular blisters on the cross arm
3. Clean the flow cup: Use the soft paper with good Water Absorbency dipped in the solvent that is easy to remove oil and repeatedly wipe the inner wall, twist the paper into a rope and pull it repeatedly in the flow hole until it is cleaned
4. Pour the tested liquid: plug the outflow hole of the cup with your finger, slowly pour the tested liquid into the cup until the liquid level protrudes the upper edge of the cup, and push the tested liquid along the edge with a clean flat Glass plate. The horizontal plane is on the same level as the upper edge of the flow cup
5. Measurement of outflow time: release the blocked finger, start the stopwatch at the same time, stop the stopwatch when the orifice outflow line starts to break, and record the stopwatch reading t
Notice
• The flow cup needs to be thoroughly cleaned before use
• When pouring the tested liquid, if there are bubbles, they need to be removed after the bubbles float to the surface
• Outflow time should be within the range of 30s to 100s
• If there is corrosion liquid, it can be operated with a stopper on the cup
• Adjust the platform level to center the blisters to ensure accurate measurement
