Overview
The CNSHP 0 #rotor is a special accessory for the digital Viscometer, specially designed for the measurement of very low viscosity liquid samples. As an optional accessory, this rotor adapter is suitable for fluids with a viscosity range of 0.1 to 10 mPa · s, and the sample volume is only 25ml.
Features
1. Specialized for measurement of very low viscosity samples
2. The sample volume only needs 25ml.
3. The cylindrical rotor can accurately calculate the shear rate, which is convenient for detailed analysis of the product
Principle
Rotor 0 accurately calculates the shear rate through the cylinder design, and the viscosity value is determined by the measurement of resistance when the rotor swirls/spins in the liquid. A measurement system is formed with a fixed sleeve and an external test cylinder to achieve accurate measurement of low viscosity liquids.
Steps
1. Use No. 0 rotor for liquids below 15mpa.s, use No. 0 rotor without protective frame, and install No. 0 rotor on the connecting screw (swirl/spin installed counterclockwise)
2. Insert the fixing sleeve into the lower cylinder of the instrument and tighten it with the sleeve fixing screw
3. Pour 20-25 ml of the tested liquid into the outer test cartridge (with bottom)
4. Sleeve the outer test cylinder into the fixing sleeve and tighten it with the test cylinder fixing screw. When tightening, you need to pay attention to the tapered end of the test cylinder fixing screw to screw into the triangular groove at the upper end of the outer test cylinder (you can observe whether the triangular groove of the test cylinder is located in the center of the round hole in the round hole on the side). After controlling the temperature of the measured liquid, the test can be carried out
5. When using a bottomless outer test cylinder, the method is basically the same as above (except 3), when the outer test cylinder and the rotor are immersed in the groove ring of the outer test cylinder as the liquid level line
Notice
• No protective frame is required when using No. 0 rotor
• When tightening the fixing screws of the test cylinder, pay attention to the cone end being screwed into the triangular groove at the upper end of the outer test cylinder
• You can observe whether the triangular groove of the test cylinder is located in the center of the round hole through the side round hole
• The temperature of the tested liquid needs to be controlled before the test
• When equipped with a bottomless outer test cylinder, the groove ring of the outer test cylinder is used as the liquid level line
