Overview

BANTE E-PHscan-F is a dedicated pH Electrode with a flat sensitive membrane design for the measurement of pH values of semi-solid substances. The Electrode is used with PHscan 10 meters.

Features

Principle

The pH Electrode is in contact with the measured liquid or semi-solid substance through its planar Glass-sensitive film to sense the activity of hydrogen ions to measure the ph value. The gel KCL reference solution inside it and the AgCl reference system form a stable potential, and form an ion path with the external measured substance through the fiber-liquid interface, converting the pH signal into an electrical signal for reading by the matching PHscan 10 instrument.

Steps

Connect the E-PHSCAN-F Electrode to the PHSCAN-10 instrument. 2. Counter electrode and meter calibrate using standard buffer solution. 3. Fully contact the plane sensitive film part of the Electrode with the semi-solid substance to be measured. 4. Read stable pH measurements on a PHSCAN 10 meter. 5. After the measurement is completed, clean and store the Electrode as required.

• Electrode measurement range is 0~ 14pH, do not use in environments beyond this range. • Electrode allowable environment operating temperature is 0~ 60 ℃, avoid using at too high or too low temperature. • Please use the designated PHscan10 meter together. • Electrode should be cleaned in time after use, especially the plane sensitive film part, to avoid contaminant residue affecting the subsequent measurement accuracy. • Please follow Electrode maintenance requirements when storing to prolong service life.
