Overview

BANTE E-PHscan-L is a dedicated pH Electrode with a plane sensitive membrane design for the measurement of pH values in small volume samples. The Electrode is used with the PHscan 10 instrument.

Principle

The pH Electrode senses the activity of hydrogen ions in the sample through its flat Glass-sensitive membrane, generating a potential signal related to the pH value. The built-in AgCl reference Electrode provides a stable reference potential, and the potential difference between the two can be processed by the supporting instrument (PHscan10 type) to display the pH value of the sample.

Applications

Small volume sample pH measurement

Steps

Connect the E-PHSCAN-L Electrode to the PHSCAN-10 instrument correctly. 2. Calibrate according to the instrument manual. 3. Immerse the plane sensitive film of Electrode into the small volume sample to be tested. 4. After the meter reading stabilizes, record the pH measurement. 5. After use, clean and store the Electrode as required.

• Please ensure that Electrode is used with the designated PHscan10 meter. • During measurement, the plane sensitive film should be in full contact with the sample. • Use and Storage Ambient Temperature should be in the range of 0~ 60 ℃. Do not use with samples outside the 0~ 14 pH measurement range. • Electrode status is checked regularly and maintained according to specifications.
