Overview
The BANTE A131-Na Lab ion meter is a precision instrument with a 7-inch TFT display that supports 5 ion Measuring methods and 13 selectable parameters in the system menu. It is suitable for measuring the Ion concentration and Water Hardness of liquids. High Accuracy and Versatility are provided.

Principle
The ion meter detects Ion concentration in liquids by ion selective Electrode, which converts ion activity into an electrical signal using electrochemistry principles. During the measurement process, the meter automatically recognizes the Electrode type, supports a variety of Measuring methods such as direct reading and known addition methods, and calibrates to ensure accuracy. The temperature compensation function (manual or automatic) optimizes measurement accuracy, and the data locking mechanism retains stable readings.

Steps
1. Connect Ion Electrode and Temperature Probe (if used).
2. Turn on the instrument power and select Ion or Water Hardness Measurement mode.
3. Perform 2 to 5 point calibrate and enter the standard concentration as prompted.
4. Immerse Electrode into the sample to be tested, and the instrument automatically recognizes Electrode and makes measurements.
5. Read the Ion concentration or Water Hardness value on the display.
6. Use the data lock function to record stable readings, or set the interval reading mode to automatically send data.
7. Store the data to memory and export it through the USB interface.
Notice
• Regularly calibrate the meter and follow the calibrated expiration reminder.
• Electrode cleaning before use to avoid contamination affecting Measurement accuracy.
• Operate within the Measurement range to prevent exceeding the specified Ion concentration.
• Avoid drastic temperature changes and use temperature compensation to optimize results.
• Password protection is enabled to prevent unauthorized changes to settings.
• Memory capacity when storing data, timely export to avoid loss.
• Clean the Electrode after use and store it properly to prolong the life of the instrument.
