Overview
The AMITTARI AV-160A Vibrometer is designed for on-site measurement of various mechanical vibrations and is used for the measurement of periodic movements to detect imBalances and deviations in moving machinery. It uses a high-performance accelerometer for accurate, reproducible measurements, providing data for quality control, running time, and prior equipment maintenance.

Principle
The AV-160A Vibrometer converts mechanical vibrations into vibration signals using a piezoelectric Acceleration Sensor for accurate measurement over a wide frequency range (10-10 KHz in Acceleration mode), outputs AC signals for auscultation and recording, and supports USB or Bluetooth data transmission.

Steps
1. Install the battery and turn it on.
2. Connect Sensors or optional accessories such as headphones.
3. Select Measurement mode (Displacement, Speed or Acceleration).
4. Place the Sensor in three orthogonal directions of the bearing shell of the machine to be tested for measurement.
5. Read the display data and evaluate the machine status according to the vibration classification selection table.
6. Optional steps: Communicate with PC via USB or Bluetooth output data.
Notice
* Measurement speed (RMS) values should be in three orthogonal directions of the bearing housing.
* Operating temperature range is 0~ 50 ℃, relative humidity should be less than 90% RH.
* Make sure the battery is fully charged before use and avoid operating in extreme environments.
* Optional accessories include headphones, USB data cable, RS-232C Connectivity cable and software, which need to be connected correctly.
