Overview
The POL-200 Semi-Automatic Polarimeter is a Multi-Parameter measuring instrument with a 5.6-inch Touchscreen, 1 to 3 point calibrate, and built-in system menu to set a number of functional parameters. The instrument is suitable for the measurement of Optical rotation, specific rotation, concentration and sugar content of compound solutions. Measurement accuracy is 0.02 degrees.

Principle
The POL-200 Polarimeter uses LED Illuminant with 589nm Interference filter to determine optical rotation, specific rotation, concentration and sugar content by measuring the swirl/spin angle of Optical rotation compound solution to polarized light. Built-in temperature sensor monitors sample temperature in real time, and with automatic temperature compensation function, the Measured value is instantly converted to the specific rotation value at 20 ° C standard conditions to ensure measurement accuracy.

Steps
1. Turn on the power of the instrument and enter the system menu to set the function parameters.
2. Select Measurement mode (optical rotation, specific rotation, concentration or sugar content).
3. Select or customize the testtube length.
4. Press the < or > key to start the measurement process.
5. The instrument automatically returns to zero and temperature compensation.
6. Read the measurement results and perform zero correction manually.
7. Data is automatically stored or sent to the computer via the USB interface.
Notice
