Overview
BANTE Ca-US Calcium Ion Selective Electrode is an original US product with a measurement range of 0.02 to 4000 ppm (or 5 × 10-7~ 1M) for direct measurement of calcium Ion concentration in solution.
Features
1. Adopt composite Electrode design, no additional reference Electrode is required.
2. Solid State Sensor design, can be directly immersed in liquid for measurement.
3. The shell is made of epoxy resin, which is durable and not easy to be damaged.
4. Equipped with 1-meter cable and BNC connector for easy connection.
Principle
The Electrode is based on ion-selective membrane technology, and its solid-state Sensor membrane has a specific Response to calcium ions. When the Electrode is immersed in the solution to be tested, the change in membrane potential is related to the activity (concentration) of calcium ions in the solution, and the calcium Ion concentration can be calculated by measuring this potential.
Applications
Water quality analysis, environment monitoring, industrial process control, laboratory research
Steps
1. Connect the Electrode via a BNC connector to the appropriate ion meter or pH/mV meter.
2. Counter electrode calibrated using standard calcium ion solution.
3. Immerse the Sensor portion of the Electrode in the sample solution to be tested.
4. After the reading stabilizes, record the measurement results.
Notice
• When used for the first time or unused for a long time, it is recommended to perform activation treatment according to the instructions.
• Electrode film is fully immersed in solution when calibrating and measuring.
• Electrode should be cleaned with deionized water after use and stored as required.
• Electrode film to avoid scratching or contact with strong corrosive substances.
Periodically calibrated to ensure measurement accuracy.
