Overview
F-US Fluoride Ion Selective Electrode is an original US product with a measurement range of 0.02ppm to saturation concentration. The Electrode is a composite design and can be used without reference Electrode.
Features
1. Compound Fluorine Ion Selective Electrode, no need to use reference Electrode.
2. Solid State Sensor design, immersion liquid measurement.
3. Epoxy resin shell, strong and not easy to break.
4. Equipped with 1-meter cable and BNC connector.
Principle
The Electrode is based on ion-selective membrane technology, and its solid-state Sensor has a specific response to fluoride ions. When the Electrode is immersed in the solution to be tested, the membrane potential is linearly related to the logarithm of fluoride ion activity in the solution, thus enabling the measurement of fluorine Ion concentration.
Applications
Water quality analysis, environment monitoring, industrial process control, laboratory research
Steps
1. Connect the Electrode to a compatible ion meter or pH/mV meter via a BNC connector.
2. Use a standard fluoride ion solution to calibrate.
3. Immerse the Electrode in the sample solution to be tested to ensure that the Sensor is fully immersed.
4. Wait for the reading to stabilize and record the measurement results.
5. After the measurement is completed, clean the Electrode with deionized water and store it properly.
Notice
• After first use or long-term storage, it is recommended to activate according to the instructions.
• When calibrating and measuring, ensure that the standard solution is consistent with the sample solution temperature for accurate results.
• Electrode film to avoid contact or friction with hard objects, to prevent scratches.
• Electrode should be cleaned in time after measurement to prevent contamination or crystal blockage.
• Please use the manufacturer's recommended Electrode filler and preservation solution (if applicable).
• Electrode measurement limit is 0.02 ppm (about 1 × 10 M), below this concentration may not be accurate measurement.
