Overview
K-US Potassium Ion Selective Electrode is a US original product with a measurement range of 0.04 to 39000ppm (or 1 × 10-6~ 1M), suitable for direct immersion in liquids for potassium Ion concentration measurement.
Features
1. Adopt composite Electrode design, no additional reference Electrode is required.
2. Solid State Sensor design, can be directly immersed in liquid measurement.
3. The shell is made of epoxy resin, which is sturdy and durable.
4. Equipped with 1-meter cable and BNC connector for easy connection.
Principle
The Electrode operates on the principle of ion-selective membrane potentiometry. Its solid-state Sensor membrane has a selective Response to potassium ions. When the Electrode is immersed in the solution to be tested, the change in membrane potential is related to the activity (concentration) of potassium ions in the solution. The measurement of this potential can determine the potassium Ion concentration.
Applications
Water quality analysis, environment monitoring, agricultural soil testing, food and beverage industry, biomedical research, chemical process control
Standards
The product information does not mention specific compliance standards.
Steps
1. Connect Electrode's BNC connector to the matching ion meter or pH/mV meter.
2. Counter electrode calibrated using standard solution.
3. Immerse the Sensor part of the Electrode in the liquid to be tested.
4. Wait for the reading to stabilize and record or read the measurement result.
5. After the measurement is completed, clean and store the Electrode as required.
Notice
• Do not damp Electrode's BNC connector.
• Electrode membrane to avoid mechanical damage or contamination.
• Before and after use, it should be calibrated, cleaned and maintained according to the instructions.
• Please use the recommended Electrode filler and preservation solution.
• Electrode is fully immersed below the liquid level during measurement.
• When not in use for a long time, please store it according to the instructions.
