Overview
The K40 Conductivity detector Electrode is a British original pure water measurement Electrode with Platinum Sensor. It is suitable for the measurement of conductivity values in the range of 0 to 500 µS/cm. It is versatile and can be equipped with various types of Conductivity Meters.
Features
1. British original Electrode, reliable quality.
2. Using Platinum Sensor, measurement is fast and stable.
3. Universal Pure Water Conductivity Electrode, can be adapted to various types of Conductivity Meters.
4. Designed for pure water measurement, the measurement range accurately covers 0~ 500 µS/cm.
Principle
The Electrode works based on the conductivity measurement principle. Its Platinum Sensor calculates conductivity values by measuring the ability of the solution to conduct current when exposed to the solution under test. The specific Conductivity detector cell constant (K = 0.1) makes it particularly suitable for pure water measurements with low conductivity.
Applications
Pure water conductivity measurement

Steps
1. Connect Electrode correctly to a compatible Conductivity Meter host.
2. Immerse the Platinum Sensor part of Electrode into the pure water sample to be tested.
3. Select the corresponding measurement mode on the instrument or calibrate (if necessary).
4. After the reading stabilizes, record the conductivity value displayed by the instrument.
Notice
• measurement range: 0~ 500 µS/cm, do not use for measurement of high conductivity solutions beyond this range.
• operating temperature: 0~ 50 ℃, ensure that it is used within the specified temperature range.
• Electrode shell is made of Glass, use and store carefully to avoid collision or drop.
• Clean and store according to Electrode Maintenance Specifications after use to maintain Sensor performance.
• Counter electrodes are regularly calibrated to ensure measurement accuracy.
