Overview
The TQC SP0510 Persoz swing bar is a dedicated swing bar assembly for the TQC Pendulum hardness tester system, dedicated to the Persoz method for hardness testing. The swing bar needs to be used in conjunction with the Pendulum hardness tester base equipment, and the Modular design enables fast switching from the König method.
Features
1. Designed for Persoz hardness testing methods
2. Modular system design, interchangeable with König swing bar
3. Fully automatic positioning by stepper motor
4. Electromagnetic system controls swing lever release
5. Provide visual and acoustic signal indication at the end of the test
Principle
Swing bar hardness testing is based on the variation of the swing amplitude of the pendulum pin on different soft Hardness surfaces. Softer surfaces weaken the swing faster, while harder surfaces weaken the swing slower. The Persoz pendulum evaluates the hardness of materials by measuring the decay time of the swing from 12 ° to 4 °.
Applications
Coating hardness testing, Surface Hardness testing
Standards
Persoz hardness testing standard
Steps
1. Install the Persoz swing bar onto the Pendula hardness tester base
2. Select Persoz Measuring method via the button
3. Stepper motor automatic positioning swing rod
4. Electromagnetic system releases swing bar to start testing
5. Observe the visual and acoustic signals to confirm the completion of the test
Notice
• The swing rod needs to be booked separately and is not included in the basic equipment
• Confirm that the voltage specifications of the basic equipment match before use
• Make sure the swing bar is properly installed on the hardness gauge
• Check whether the swing rod swings smoothly before the test
• Pay attention to the sound and light prompt signal at the end of the test
