Overview
Defelsko Positector200D Standard Ultrasonic Coating thickness gauge is an Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge imported from the United States, model D Standard 200D1-E, dedicated to the measurement of thicker soft Coating thickness on Non-metallic substrates, such as asphalt, polyurea and Miscellaneous very thick polymer coatings. Measurement range is 50~ 7600 microns, only the total thickness of the measurement coating and does not have graphic display function.
Features
Accurate measurement: Traceability to NIST calibration, Sensitive Sensor provides fast and accurate readings, non-destructive ultrasonic thickness measurement technology meets ASTM D6132 and ISO 2808 standards
2. High durability: resistant to solvents, acids, oils, water and dust, rubber sheath with belt buckle has shock absorption and protection functions
3. Easy to operate: no need to calibrate, menu navigation can be operated with one hand, two-color indicator lights are available in noisy environments, RESET restart quickly restore factory settings
4. Powerful: Continuous display of average, Standard Deviation, minimum/maximum thickness and number of readings, storage of 250 readings, screen capture archive, USB connection to computer power supply, PosiSoft USB driver No software to obtain data, data marking date and time, can use PosiSoft.net software
5. Wide range of applications: high versatility of the host, compatible with a variety of Probe variants Miscellaneous measurement instrument, Mill/micron Unit switch, multi-language optional, high contrast backlight display, inverted display function, use alkaline or rechargeable battery
Principle
Non-destructive ultrasonic thickness measurement technology is used to measure the thickness through the propagation characteristics of ultrasonic waves in coatings.
Applications
Thick soft coatings such as polyurea, asphalt, neoprene, very thick polymers, etc
Standards
ASTM D6132、ISO 2808
Steps
Step 1 Remove the Probe rubber case
2. Press the middle menu button to turn on the thickness gauge
3. Apply a coupling agent to the tested surface
4. Place the Probe vertically on the surface and press down
5. Raise Probe or continuous measurement when you hear two beeps
6. Wipe the Probe coupler after measurement, put on the protective cover again, and do not need to disconnect the Probe during storage.
Notice
• Coupling agent is required for measurement
• Probes should be placed vertically on the tested surface
• Probe cleaning after measurement
• No need to disconnect Probe when storing
• Ambient Temperature 0~ 40 ℃
