Overview
The JINGKELIAN QBJ coating Cupping tester (digital display) is a coating-specific Cupping tester compliant with ISO1520 and GB9753 standards. It is used to evaluate the performance of Paints or varnishes against cracking or separation from metal substrates under specific conditions. It can assess whether the coating passes or not and determine the minimum depth at which the coating just cracks or begins to break off the substrate. The tester has a indentation diameter of 20mm and a maximum depth of 10mm. It has automatic zeroing and manual zeroing functions and supports single-sided and double-top coating laminate testing.
Features
1. Comply with ISO1520 and GB9753 standards;
2. The indentation diameter is 20mm, and the maximum depth is 10mm.
3. Depression accuracy +/- 0.05mm, digital display resolution 0.01mm;
4. Maximum crushing force of 1000N;
5. Test plate size 70 * 70mm, thickness range 0.30-1. 25mm;
6. With automatic zero adjustment and manual zero adjustment functions;
7. Support single-sided and double-top coating board testing.
Principle
The tester by gradually increasing the depth of indentation, pressure is applied to the coating, evaluation of Paints or varnish cracking resistance or resistance to separation from the metal substrate under specific conditions performance, measuring the minimum depth of the coating just cracking or starting from the substrate.
Applications
Coating performance test, Paints evaluation, varnish evaluation
Steps
1. Prepare the test plate, size 70 * 70mm, thickness 0.30-1. 25mm;
2. Select the function of automatic zero adjustment or manual zero adjustment;
3. Carry out single-sided or double-top coating laminate test;
4. Gradually increase the depression depth and observe the coating state;
5. Record the minimum depth at which the coating just cracks or breaks off the substrate.
Notice
• Ensure that the size and thickness of the test plate meet the requirements;
• Check the equipment zeroing function before operation;
• Slowly increase the depression depth during the test to avoid misjudgment;
• Clean equipment after use and store it properly.
