Overview
HYL-101 Scott Loose Density Meter is a powder Loose Bulk Density testing device developed by HYLOLOGY brand according to the national standard GB5060-85, and all indicators are in line with national standards. The instrument is used to determine the Loose Bulk Density of metal powders and uses the Scott volumetric method for accurate measurement.
Features
1. Adopt upper combined funnel design, assembled from two stainless steel conical funnels, equipped with 1.18mm stainless steel sieve
2. The fabric box has four 2mm thick quartz Glass baffles, the inclination angle is 25 °, which can be pulled out for easy cleaning
3. Cube funnel is 304 stainless steel, 60 ° square cone design, lower diameter 12.5mm × 12.5mm
4. Cylinder cup volume 25 +/- 0.05ml, 304 stainless steel material, Net weight 46 +/- 1g
5. Equipped with a special iron bench to support each component
6. Dimensions compact: 100 * 160 * 358mm
Principle
The powder is placed on the screen in the upper combination funnel, flows naturally or by external force into the fabric box, alternately passes through four quartz Glass plates with an inclination angle of 25 ° in the fabric box and Cube funnel, and finally flows into a cylindrical cup of known volume, in a loose state. Then weigh the mass of the powder in the cylindrical cup to calculate the Loose Bulk Density.
Applications
Metal Powder Loose Bulk Density Determination
Steps
1. Place the powder sample on the screen in the upper combination funnel
2. The powder flows into the fabric box naturally or by external force
3. The powder alternately passes through four inclined quartz Glass plates and Cube funnels
4. Powder flows into a cylindrical cup of known volume
5. Weigh the powder mass in the cylindrical cup
6. Calculate Loose Bulk Density
Notice
• The four quartz Glass plates in the cloth box can be pulled out and should be cleaned in time after use
• The volume of the cylindrical cup is 25 +/- 0.05ml, and the accuracy requirements should be paid attention to when using it
• Balance needs to be brought by the user, the maximum weight is 1Kg, and the accuracy is 0.02g.
• All parts of the instrument are supported by an iron bench, which needs to be stable during use
