Overview
The WXQM-0.4A Horizontal Planetary Ball mill is a lightweight laboratory equipment featuring four horizontal ball mill tanks symmetrically mounted on a vertical planetary disk. The design makes the ball mill tank have no fixed flat bottom during planetary motion, which helps to solve the problem of material sinking and improve grinding effect and efficiency. Simple structure and convenient operation, suitable for experimental research of small batches of samples in the laboratory.
Features
1. The horizontal ball milling tank design is adopted, and there is no fixed flat bottom when swirling/spinning, which helps to solve the problem of material sinking.
2. When the ball mill tank is in planetary motion, the grinding ball is affected by the revolution, rotation centrifugal force and its own gravity, which strengthens the disordered movement and improves the grinding effect and efficiency.
3. Using high-tech microcomputer chip control, it can run alternately according to the setting program forward and reverse repeatedly (0-999min) and forward, pause, reverse, pause, forward (0-999min) alternately, especially suitable for the need to chill down or intermittent operation needs.
4. Can be dry grinding, wet grinding, optional vacuum filled inert gas grinding or low temperature grinding.
5. The gear transmission is lubricated with butter to reduce the noise of equipment operation.
Adopt three-phase motor frequency conversion controller, with speed display electronic monitoring device, support stepless speed regulation and continuous operation timing (1-3600min).

Principle
The WXQM-0.4A horizontal planetary ball mill is equipped with four horizontal ball mill tanks on the vertical planetary disk. When the planetary disk rotates, the ball mill tank is driven to perform planetary motion. Since the ball mill tank is installed horizontally and has no fixed plane bottom, the grinding balls in the tank are affected by the two centrifugal forces generated by the revolution and rotation, as well as their own gravity. This compound motion strengthens the disordered movement of the grinding balls and materials, thereby improving the grinding effect and grinding efficiency.

Steps
Prepare samples according to material properties (soil material ≤ 10mm, Miscellaneous material ≤ 3mm).
2. Load the sample and grinding balls into a horizontal ball milling tank.
3. Set the operating parameters through the microcomputer controller: including revolution/rotation speed (revolution: 35-335rpm, rotation: 70-670rpm), operation mode (alternating forward and reverse or forward-pause-reverse-pause-forward), timing time (1-3600min) and commutation period (1-999min).
4. Start the device to grind.
5. After grinding, take out the sample, and the minimum discharge particle size can reach 0.1 μm.
Notice
The operating voltage of the equipment is 220V AC, please ensure that the power supply matches.
* Feed particle size must meet the requirements: soil material ≤ 10mm, Miscellaneous material ≤ 3mm.
* Equipment supports long-term operation, but the maximum Continuous Operating Time should not exceed 48 hours.
* Dry grinding, wet grinding, vacuum filled inert gas grinding or low temperature grinding mode can be selected according to the experimental requirements.
When the device is running, please pay attention to the display status of the controller.
Regularly check the butter lubrication of the gear transmission part to maintain low-noise operation.
