Overview
WXQM-2A Horizontal Planetary Ball mill is a lightweight laboratory equipment designed with a horizontally installed ball mill tank. It achieves efficient disordered grinding of materials through planetary motion, combined with orbital, rotational centrifugal force and the grinding ball's own gravity, and effectively solves the problem of material sinking. It is suitable for experimental research on small batches of samples in the laboratory.
Features
1. The horizontal ball mill tank design is adopted, and there is no fixed plane bottom when grinding, which helps to solve the problem of material sinking and improve the grinding effect and efficiency.
2. Using high-tech microcomputer chip control, the program can be set to realize forward rotation, reverse repeated alternating operation (0-999min) and forward rotation, pause, reverse, pause, forward rotation (0-999min) alternating operation, especially suitable for the need to chill down or intermittent operation needs.
3. Support dry grinding, wet grinding, and optional vacuum filled inert gas grinding or low temperature grinding, flexible application.
4. The gear transmission is lubricated with butter to effectively reduce the noise of equipment operation.
5. Adopt three-phase motor frequency conversion controller, with stepless speed regulation, continuous operation timing (1-3600min) and positive and negative operation cycle (1-999min) setting functions, and with speed display electronic monitoring device.
Principle
The ball mill is symmetrically equipped with four horizontally installed ball mill tanks on a vertical planetary disk. When the planetary disk rotates, the ball mill tank is driven to perform planetary motion. Since the ball mill tank is installed horizontally and has no fixed plane bottom, the grinding balls in the tank are not only affected by the centrifugal force generated by the revolution and rotation, but also by their own gravity. This compound motion enhances the degree of disordered movement of the grinding balls and materials, thereby improving the grinding effect and efficiency.

Steps
Prepare samples according to material properties (e.g., soil materials ≤ 10mm, Miscellaneous materials ≤ 3mm).
2. Put the sample and the grinding ball into the horizontal ball milling tank.
3. According to the grinding requirements, choose dry grinding, wet grinding or Miscellaneous optional mode (such as vacuum filled with inert gas or low temperature grinding).
4. Set the operating parameters through the device controller: including revolution/rotation speed (revolution: 35-335rpm, rotation: 70-670rpm), running time (1-3600min), forward and reverse commutation period (1-999min) and operating mode (such as alternating forward and reverse).
5. Start the equipment and start the grinding process.
6. After the grinding is completed, the equipment stops according to the set program and takes out the ground material (the minimum discharge particle size can reach 0.1μm).
Notice
* Maximum Continuous Operating Time of Equipment does not exceed 48 hours.
* Feed particle size must meet the requirements: soil material ≤ 10mm, Miscellaneous material ≤ 3mm.
The equipment is powered by 220V AC voltage, please ensure that the power supply matches.
* The gear transmission has been lubricated with butter, do not add Miscellaneous Lubricant at will, and check the lubrication condition regularly.
* The device has program control function, please read the instructions carefully and set up alternate running programs such as forward and reverse, pause, etc. as needed.
* When performing optional special grinding (e.g. vacuum, low temperature), please ensure that the relevant accessories are installed and operated correctly.
* When the equipment is running, do not approach the swirl/spin parts to ensure safe operation.
