Overview
HR-150H heightened manual Rockwell Hardness Tester is an economical and practical hardness testing equipment of the SMTMF brand. It adopts a manual loading and unloading test force mechanism to directly read the Hardness values of HRA, HRB, HRC and other scales through the pointer. It has high Sensitivity and Stability and is suitable for workshop and laboratory environments.
Features
1. Adopt European and American custom casting shell, with good rigidity.
2. Accuracy reaches 0.5HR.
3. Direct dial reading, support HRA, HRB, HRC and other rulers.
4. Adopt a mechanical manual testing process without the need for electrical control.
5. External test force selection knob, easy to operate.
6. Equipped with a precision hydraulic buffer, the loading speed can be adjusted.
7. It has a wide range of applications, easy operation, and good economy and practicality.
The accuracy conforms to GB/T 230.2, ISO 6508-2 and ASTM E18 standards.
9. The standard configuration is complete, meeting the testing requirements of all rulers.
Principle
The hardness gauge applies the specified initial test force (10kgf) and main test force (60kgf, 100kgf or 150kgf) to the indenter by manually operating the afterburner lever. Under the adjustment of the precision oil pressure buffer, the indenter is pressed into the sample, and the corresponding rockwell hardness value is directly indicated by the dial pointer through the measurement of the depth difference of the Crow.
Applications
Workshop, laboratory
Standards
GB/T230.2、ISO 6508-2、ASTM E18
Steps
1. Select the appropriate indenter (diamond cone indenter or φ 1.588mm steel ball indenter) and test bench according to the test ruler.
2. Place the specimen smoothly on the test bench.
3. Select the required test force (60kgf, 100kgf or 150kgf) through the external knob.
4. Turn the handwheel to bring the sample into slow contact with the indenter until the initial test force is applied.
5. Continue to rotate the handwheel to apply the main test force and maintain the specified time.
6. Remove the main test force, retain the initial test force, and read the Hardness value directly from the dial.
7. After the test is completed, remove all test forces and remove the specimen.
Notice
• Please read the product instruction manual carefully before use.
• Ensure that the surface of the specimen is flat, clean, and firmly placed on the test bench.
• Choose the test scale, indenter and test force correctly according to the material being tested.
• Operate the afterburner lever smoothly and slowly to avoid Impact.
• Measurement accuracy is regularly calibrated using standard Hardness Blocks.
• Keep the instrument clean and avoid dust and corrosion.
• The maximum test height of the instrument is 420mm, and the distance from the center of the indenter to the fuselage is 165mm. Please ensure that the sample size is within this range.
• Non-professionals should not disassemble or adjust the internal structure of the instrument.
