Overview
Thermax 06STHM0ML2C01PK Thermometric Paper is a self-adhesive label product that can record the highest temperature reached for a long time. It responds to temperature changes instantly by changing the color from silver to black, and is resistant to oil, water and steam. It is inexpensive and easy to use.
Features
1. Self-adhesive label design for easy pasting and removal
2. Color Change from Silver to Black with Instant and Irreversible Response
3. Resistant to oil, water and steam, suitable for a variety of environments
4. Inexpensive and easy to use
5. High Accuracy measurement with +/- 1 ° C accuracy below 100 ° C, +/- 1.5 ° C at 100 ° C to 154 ° C, +/- 4 ° C above 154 ° C
Principle
Thermometric Paper consists of a series of temperature-sensitive elements sealed onto a heat-resistant substrate, each using a special purified organic chemical with a melting point that defines the precise discoloration effect. When the rated temperature is exceeded, the chemical melts and is absorbed into the substrate, resulting in a permanent Color change. Up to ten elements can be combined on a single label to provide a temperature history.
Applications
Temperature monitoring, industrial inspection, quality control, equipment maintenance
Steps
1. Attach the self-adhesive label to the surface to be monitored
2. Observe the Color change, when the rated temperature is exceeded, the component changes from silver to black
3. Avoid delamination when removing labels for reference
4. Can be attached to the inspection report as a permanent record
Notice
- Products at 120 ° F/50 ° C or below should be stored in a sealed bag inside the refrigerator
- Products above 120 ° F/50 ° C should be stored at room temperature and 50% relative humidity
- Color changes are irreversible, ensuring temperature history is recorded correctly
- Be careful when removing labels to prevent damage
