Overview
Thermax 06STHM0ML6C01PK Thermometric Paper is a self-adhesive label that records the highest temperature achieved by irreversible Color change from silver to black. It is inexpensive and easy to use with instant Response, oil, water and steam resistance, provides a long temperature history and is suitable for a variety of surface monitoring.
Features
1. Self-adhesive label design, easy to paste and remove, without layering.
2. Color changes from silver to black, irreversible, providing long-term recording.
3. Immediate Response to temperature changes, oil, water and steam resistance.
4. Cheap and easy to use.
5. High Accuracy measurement with +/- 1 ° C accuracy below 100 ° C, +/- 1.5 ° C at 100 ° C to 154 ° C, and +/- 4 ° C above 154 ° C.
6. Multi-temperature point measurement, including 6 temperature grids: 166 ° C, 171 ° C, 177 ° C, 182 ° C, 188 ° C, 193 ° C.
Principle
Thermometric Paper consists of a series of temperature-sensitive components sealed on a heat-resistant substrate with a transparent window. Each component uses a special purified organic chemical whose melting point defines the discoloration temperature. When the rated temperature is exceeded, the chemical melts and is absorbed by the substrate, causing a permanent Color change. This change is irreversible, providing a surface temperature history, and the label can be removed and attached to the inspection report.
Steps
1. Attach the self-adhesive label to the surface that needs to be monitored.
2. Observe the Color change, when the temperature exceeds the rated point, the element changes from silver to black.
3. Record the temperature point after the change.
4. Remove the label, which can be attached to the inspection report as a long-term record.
Notice
• Select storage conditions according to the product Temperature range: 120 ° F/50 ° C or below products should be stored in refrigerator sealing bags; 120 ° F/50 ° C above products should be stored at room temperature and 50% relative humidity.
• Color change is irreversible, ensure that it is used within the rated Temperature range.
• Avoid use in extreme environments to avoid affecting accuracy.
• Be careful not to damage the surface when removing the label.
