Principle
Thermometric Paper consists of a series of temperature-sensitive elements sealed on a heat-resistant substrate with a transparent window. Each element uses a special purified organic chemical with a melting point that defines the precise discoloration effect. When the rated temperature is exceeded, the chemical melts and is absorbed into the substrate, causing a permanent Color change that provides a temperature history. Labels are removed without delamination and can be attached to inspection reports as a permanent record.
