Overview
HR-150A manual Rockwell Hardness Tester is an economical Rockwell Hardness Tester of SMTMF brand. It can measure the rockwell hardness of ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals and Non-metallic materials. It is suitable for rockwell hardness measurement of heat treatment such as quenching, quenching and tempering. The surface measurement is stable and reliable.
Features
1. Accurate, reliable and durable.
2. Direct dial reading, support HRA, HRB, HRC ruler.
3. Adopt mechanical manual testing, no power supply required, and no electrical control is required during the testing process.
4. Equipped with a precision hydraulic buffer, the loading speed can be adjusted.
5. It has a wide range of applications, easy operation, and good economy and practicality.
The accuracy conforms to GB/T 230.2, ISO 6508-2 and ASTM E18 standards.
Principle
HR-150A manual Rockwell Hardness Tester is tested by mechanical manual operation. It applies the initial test force and the main test force through the afterburner lever, uses the diamond Rockwell indenter or the carbide steel ball indenter to press into the surface of the sample, and directly reads the Hardness value converted by the Cedar depth difference through the dial.
Applications
Ferrous metal rockwell hardness measurement, non-ferrous metal rockwell hardness measurement, Non-metallic material rockwell hardness measurement, quenching heat treatment Hardness measurement, quenching and tempering heat treatment Hardness measurement, curved workpiece Hardness measurement
Standards
GB/T230.2、ISO 6508-2、ASTM E18
Steps
Select the appropriate scale (HRA, HRB, or HRC) and the corresponding indenter (diamond indenter or φ 1.5875mm steel ball indenter) according to the material to be measured.
2. Select the appropriate test bench (large plane, medium plane or V-shaped test bench) according to the shape of the sample (plane, cylindrical surface) and place the sample to ensure that the maximum height of the sample does not exceed 170mm, and the distance from the center of the indenter to the fuselage is 165mm.
3. Turn the handwheel to slowly raise the test bench, allowing the indenter to contact the surface of the sample until the small pointer of the dial points to the red dot and the large pointer is vertically upward.
4. Push the loading handle and apply the main test force (60kgf, 100kgf, or 150kgf).
5. When the large hands of the dial stop rotating significantly, the unloading handle can be pushed back to remove the main test force.
6. While maintaining the initial test force, read the corresponding Hardness value from the dial.
Notice
• Read the product instruction manual before use.
• Correctly select the ruler, indenter and test force according to the test requirements.
• Ensure that the specimen is placed smoothly and the height and size meet the requirements (the maximum height of the specimen is 170mm, and the minimum diameter of the cylindrical specimen is 3mm).
The loading and unloading process should operate smoothly.
• Regularly calibrate with standard Hardness blocks to ensure measurement accuracy.
Equipment does not require power, but it needs to be used and stored in a suitable environment.
• Pay attention to safety when handling and moving, the weight of the main engine is 85Kg.
