Overview
Touchscreen digital display Brinell Hardness Tester (model MHBS-3000) is mainly used for the measurement of brinell hardness of materials, especially for large materials such as castings or forgings with crystalline structure and not suitable for Rockwell or Vickers testing. The equipment is suitable for the measurement of brinell hardness of ferrous metals and non-ferrous metals. It adopts electronic automatic loading, computer software programming, high-magnification Optical inspection measurement and photoelectric sensing system. Feedback from High Accuracy pressure sensor, CPU control and automatic compensation for test force loss. Hardness value can be automatically calculated and displayed. The reading is accurate and the operation is convenient.
Features
1. Force Sensor, Force Feedback, Closed Loop System.
2. Wide range of force values: 62.5kgf~ 3000kgf.
3. All operating procedures and test results can be displayed on the screen.
4. The experimental result data can be output through the printer.
5. Equipped with High Accuracy Micrometer eyepiece, the measurement is more accurate and efficient.
6. Video measurement device and CCD image automatic measurement system can be configured according to the special needs of users.
Principle
The hardness gauge automatically applies the test force through the electronic system, uses the cemented carbide ball indenter to press into the surface of the sample, removes the test force after maintaining the specified time, and measures the diameter of the sample surface. The device uses high-magnification Optical Microscopy (microscope eyepiece) for measurement, through the photoelectric sensing system and High Accuracy pressure sensor feedback, the CPU controls the entire test process, and automatically calculates and displays the brinell hardness value.
Applications
Hardness measurement of cast iron, steel, non-ferrous metals and soft alloys, in addition to hard plastics, bakelite and other Non-metallic hardness of materials.
Standards
ISO 6506、ASTM E10-12、JIS Z2243、GB/T 231.2
Steps
1. Select the appropriate test force and pressure head according to the sample.
2. Place the sample on the test bench and adjust the position so that the center of the indenter is aligned with the test point.
3. Set test parameters (such as hold time) through Touchscreen.
4. Start the test, and the equipment automatically completes the process of loading, retaining, and unloading.
5. Use micrometer eyepieces to measure Cedar diameter, or obtain data through an automatic measurement system.
6. The device automatically calculates and displays the Hardness value.
7. Test results can be output through the Built-in Printer.
Notice
If the Brinell test is performed only on a certain part of a large material, the value measured may not necessarily represent the overall properties of the entire material or the final product.
Please ensure that the power supply meets the requirements (AC220V +/- 5%, 50~ 60Hz) before use.
Select the test force, indenter, and ruler correctly according to the test material.
Make sure the surface of the sample is flat, clean, and firmly placed on the test bench.
During operation, pay attention to the distance from the center of the indenter to the body (135mm) and the maximum height of the specimen (275mm).
● Regularly calibrate with standard Hardness blocks to ensure measurement accuracy.
Read and adhere to the safety and operating instructions in the product instruction manual.
