Overview
SMTMF HR-150DT Electric Rockwell Hardness Tester is a popular rockwell hardness tester with beautiful appearance and easy operation. This hardness gauge can be used for rockwell hardness determination of ferrous metals and non-ferrous metals, and is widely used in factory workshops and Measurement departments.

Principle
The hardness gauge adopts the rockwell hardness test principle. By automatically loading the main test force (60kgf, 100kgf, 150kgf), with diamond Rockwell indenter or φ 1.5875mm cemented carbide steel ball indenter, the surface of the sample is generated. The corresponding rockwell hardness values (HRA, HRB, HRC) are directly displayed through the dial by measuring the difference in depth of the Crow.

Steps
1. Select the appropriate Hardness scale (HRA, HRB, HRC) and corresponding indenter according to the sample.
2. Place the sample smoothly on the test bench (large flat test bench, medium flat test bench or "V" type test bench).
3. Manually apply the initial test force (10kgf).
4. The equipment automatically loads the selected main test force.
5. After the set holding time (0-99 seconds), the main test force is removed.
6. Read and record the Hardness value from the dial.
7. Optional: output test results via print or RS-232C interface.
Notice
• Please read the product instruction manual carefully before use.
• Make sure the power supply is AC220V +/- 5%, 50~ 60Hz.
• Correctly select the Hardness scale and corresponding indenter and weight (sets A, B, C) according to the test material.
The maximum height of the specimen shall not exceed 170mm.
• The distance from the center of the indenter to the fuselage is 165mm, please ensure that the sample size is appropriate.
When testing round specimens, the minimum diameter should be no less than 3mm.
• Test accuracy is regularly calibrated using the included standard rockwell hardness blocks (HRB, HRC high, low).
When replacing the fuse, please use a model with a specification of 0.5A (φ 5 * 20).
• The instrument light bulb (GY6-12A) is a wearing part, if it is damaged, please replace it in time.
• Please keep the lifting screw protective cap, dust-proof plastic bags and other accessories properly.
