Overview
SMTMF HB-3000Plus Large Field Automatic Brinell Hardness Tester is mainly used for the determination of Hardness of cast iron, steel, non-ferrous metals and soft alloys, and can also be used for the determination of some Non-metallic hardness of materials such as hard plastics and bakelite. The hardness gauge adopts the loaded weight loading force value, Stability is good, accuracy is higher, suitable for factories, workshops, laboratories, Universities & colleges and scientific research institutions.
Features
1. The test is mainly used for the determination of Hardness of cast iron, steel, non-ferrous metals and soft alloys.
2. Stability, Reliability and durability are much higher than congeneric products.
3. The machine has a large testing space, up to 300mm.
4. High Accuracy Large workbench can be automatically lifted.
5. Large workbench for measurement of large workpieces.
6. Adopt weight loading force value, more stable.
7. With foot switch design, one-button measurement, Measurement speed, more suitable for production site use.
Principle
The hardness gauge adopts the principle of brinell hardness test, applies the specified test force through the automatic loading system, presses the cemented carbide ball indenter into the surface of the sample, removes the test force after the specified load holding time, and measures the diameter of the sample surface.
Applications
Factories, Workshops, Laboratories, Universities & colleges, Research Institutions
Standards
EN、ISO 6507、EN ISO 6506、ASTM E-384、ASTM E-10-08、ASTM E-384 GB/T231.2、JJG150
Steps
1. According to the sample material and expected Hardness value, choose the appropriate test force and indenter combination (Brinell scale).
2. Place the sample smoothly on the workbench and adjust it to the appropriate height through the automatic lifting workbench.
3. Use the foot switch to start the automatic loading process.
4. The device automatically completes the loading, loading (time adjustable, default 15 seconds), and unloading process.
5. Microscope measurement of the diameter of the specimen surface using 20x reading.
6. By looking up the table or cooperating with the Brinell measurement system, the brinell hardness value is calculated or inquired according to the Cedar diameter and the test force used.
Notice
• Please read the product instruction manual carefully before use.
• Make sure the power supply is AC220V +/- 5%, 50~ 60Hz.
• Choose the correct Brinell scale (combination of test force and indenter) according to the test material.
The specimen should be placed smoothly to ensure that there is no movement during the test.
• Regularly calibrate equipment using standard Hardness Blocks to ensure Test accuracy.
• Pay attention to safety during operation and avoid body parts entering under the indenter.
• Device weight is large (123kg), so pay attention when moving and installing.
• The fuse specification is 2A, please use the same specification when replacing.
