Overview
MHVS-1000AT Touchscreen automatic turret microhardness gauge is a new type of hardness testing instrument using a combination of precision machinery and optoelectronic computer software technology. It is suitable for Vickers or Knoop hardness testing, and the Hardness value is automatically obtained by measuring the diagonal of the Cour and entering the integrated calculator. The instrument is particularly suitable for testing metal structures, micro parts, thin plates, hardened layers, platings, and Non-metallic materials such as Glass, jewelry, ceramics, and can follow the internal Hardness of material structure testing processes such as induction hardening or carburization.
Features
1. Cedar Diagonal Automatic measurement Microscope
2. Easy to operate
3. Fully automatic loading and unloading control
4. LCD Digital Display Hardness Value and Data Statistics, Built-in Printer Direct Printing Output
5. Equipped with dual light channel (eyepiece and CCD camera channel), can be equipped with computer Control system
6. The minimum reading of the XY test bench is 0.01mm.
7. Microscopic Vickers and Knoop Hardness Value Automatic Calculation and Display
8. Automatic switching of indenter and objective lens (automatic turret)
9. Test point automatic positioning is accurate
10. Hardness conversion control can be selected according to different materials
11. Adjustable Cold Illuminant measurement system
Principle
The hardness gauge automatically applies and maintains the set test force to make the indenter form a Cedar on the surface of the sample. Subsequently, the diagonal length of the Cedar is accurately measured by the automatic measurement Microscope, and this value is entered into the integrated calculator to automatically calculate the corresponding Vickers or Knoop Hardness value.
Applications
Metal structures, micro parts, sheets, foils, wires, thin hardened layers, platings, Glass, jewelry, ceramics, induction hardened materials, carburized materials
Standards
GBT4340.1、GBT4340.2、ASTM_E92
Steps
1. Select the appropriate test force according to the test material.
2. Place the specimen on the test bench and hold it firmly.
3. Set test parameters (such as hold time) through Touchscreen or Control system.
4. Start the test, and the instrument automatically completes the loading, holding, and unloading processes and switches the objective.
5. Automatic measurement Microscope measurement Crescent diagonal, calculate and display Hardness value.
6. Test results can be printed through the Built-in Printer, or data can be saved through the computer system.
Notice
• Please make sure that the instrument is placed horizontally before use, and use a level and horizontal adjustment screws to adjust.
• Please select the appropriate clamping stage (such as cross test stage, sheet clamping stage, flat clamping stage or filament clamping stage) according to the size and shape of the sample.
• When selecting the test force, match the hardness of materials and test standards, ranging from 10gf to 1kgf.
When testing, please pay attention to the limitations of the maximum height (120mm) and maximum width (110mm) of the specimen.
Make sure the power supply is AC220V +/- 5%, 50-60Hz, and use the power cord equipped with the instrument.
• Please use the special tools provided (e.g. screw driver) when operating, and pay attention to the position of the spare fuse (2A).
• Periodically calibrate with a standard MicroVickers Hardness block to ensure test accuracy.
• Read and follow all safety and operation guidelines in the product instruction manual.
