Overview
JMHVS-1000AT precision digital display automatic turret microhardness gauge (head mobile) is a new type of microscopic Vickers Hardness Tester using precision mechanical technology and photoelectric technology. It is suitable for measuring the microhardness of small, thin specimens, surface penetration platings and other specimens, as well as the microhardness of brittle materials such as Glass, ceramics, agate, gemstones, etc. The machine adopts microcomputer control and is a hardness testing instrument for scientific research institutions, factories and quality supervision departments to conduct material research and testing.
Features
1. Measurement light source strength can be adjusted by pressing the button.
2. Can preset the test force holding time.
3. Adopt unique Cedric measurement conversion and micrometer eyepiece one-time measurement reading mechanism.
4. Hardness value conversion table built into the software.
5. Easy to use, Measurement accuracy.
6. Photographic devices can be prepared according to the specific requirements of users, capable of photographing the metallographic structure of the measured materials.
Principle
The hardness gauge automatically applies the test force (loading, holding, unloading), and presses the indenter into the surface of the sample to form a Cedar. Subsequently, it switches to the Microscope system through the automatic turret, uses the micrometer eyepiece to measure the diagonal length of the Cedar, and combines the built-in Hardness value conversion table to calculate the Vickers or Knoop Hardness value.
Applications
Scientific research institutions, factories, and quality supervision departments conduct material research and testing, which is suitable for microhardness determination of brittle materials such as micro-specimens, thin-shaped specimens, surface infiltration platings, Glass, ceramics, agate, and gemstones.
Standards
GBT4340.1、GBT4340.2、ASTM_E92
Steps
1. Prepare the sample and place it on the test bench.
2. Select the test force and preset the holding time by pressing the button.
3. Start the automatic test program, and the equipment automatically completes the process of loading, retaining, and unloading.
4. The indenter objective automatically switches to the microscope observation position.
5. Measurement of Cedar diagonal length by micrometer eyepiece.
6. Measured values are automatically calculated and displayed by the equipment software.
Notice
• Please ensure that the equipment is placed horizontally before use.
• Select the appropriate test force according to the characteristics of the sample.
• Ensure that the surface of the specimen is clean and flat.
• Do not touch the Optical inspection lens during operation.
• Regularly calibrate using standard Hardness blocks.
• Note that the power requirements of the equipment are AC220V +/- 5%, 50-60Hz.
• Handle with care when moving or transporting equipment.
