Overview
The HD9-45 Optical inspection Lovell hardness gauge is a multi-functional hardness testing instrument from the SMTMF brand. The instrument has a 7-level test force, supports both surface Rockwell and Vickers hardness testing methods, and has high Sensitivity and Stability. It is suitable for workshop and laboratory environments.
Features
1. The test force conversion adopts a semi-automatic device, and the speed of applying the test force is controlled by the buffer Flow rate.
2. Surface rockwell hardness indication can be read directly through Optical inspection projection screen.
3. Vickers Hardness indication is obtained by Microscope device measurement (measurement in two directions perpendicular to each other), using its arithmetic mean lookup table.
4. The instrument has high Sensitivity and Stability, and is highly operable.
Principle
The hardness gauge is formed by pressing the indenter into the surface of the specimen by applying a specific test force. For surface rockwell hardness, the depth or size of the Cedge is directly enlarged and the indication is read by the Optical inspection projection system. For Vickers Hardness, the Microscope system is used to measure the diagonal length of the Cedge, and the Hardness value is obtained by calculating the average value and looking up the table.
Applications
Workshop, laboratory
Standards
GB/T230.1, GB/T230.2, JJG112, ISO 6508-2, ASTM E18
Steps
1. Select the surface Rockwell or Vickers test method according to the test requirements.
2. Install the corresponding indenter (such as Rockwell diamond indenter, diamond Vickers indenter or steel ball indenter).
3. Select and place a suitable test bench (e.g. flat, "V" type test bench).
4. Place the specimen on the test bench.
5. Select and apply the corresponding test force through the semi-automatic device.
6. For surface Rockwell testing, read Hardness values directly from the Optical inspection projection screen.
7. For the Vickers test, use a Microscope to measure the diagonal lengths of the two perpendicular directions, calculate the average, and then check the comparison table to obtain the Hardness value.
Notice
• Please read the product instruction manual carefully before use.
Make sure the power supply is AC220V/50Hz and use the power cord equipped with the instrument.
• Select the appropriate test force, pressure head and test bench according to the test standards and requirements.
• When measuring Vickers Hardness, the diagonal of the Crowns should be measured in two directions perpendicular to each other to ensure accuracy.
• Regularly calibrate instruments using standard Hardness Blocks to ensure Test accuracy.
• Instrument light bulbs (6V/15F) and lighting small light bulbs (6V/5W) are wearing parts and need to be spare according to specifications.
• Note that the fuse specification of the instrument is 0.5A (φ 5 * 20).
When handling or moving, please pay attention to the instrument weight (85kg) and size (546 * 300 * 767mm) to avoid collision.
• When not in use, it is recommended to cover the instrument with a dust-proof plastic bag.
