The SAFETAK GC10S-CO Carbon Monoxide Detector is a Single Toxic Gas detector with Compact Appearance and Portable Pocket. It features a user-friendly backlit display for easy reading in dark environments and a 360 ° multi-function alarm function. It is easy to operate and rugged, especially for workers who have toxic and harmful gas environments on site.

Principle
Electrochemical sensor using a plug-in type, the application of the principle of fixed electrolysis potential method. Sensor electrolysis cell with working Electrode, Counter electrode and reference Electrode, and applied polarization voltage, isolated from the outside world through the film. Measured gas through the film to reach the working Electrode oxidation reduction reaction, resulting in an output current proportional to the gas concentration. This current signal after sampling, amplification and conversion circuit processing, converted into a current signal, and the corresponding gas concentration displayed on the screen.
Applications
It is suitable for on-site workers who have toxic and harmful gases (such as H2S, CO, O2, SO2, HCL, CL2, NO2, H2, NH3, etc.).

Steps
1. Turn it on and the device will perform a full self-test.
2. After the self-test is passed, the device automatically returns to zero and enters the state to be detected.
3. Use the JoyStick three-way navigation button to operate and set.
4. Place the instrument in the test environment for continuous testing.
5. Read the real-time gas concentration and working status through the LCD liquid crystal display.
Notice
* Ambient Temperature -20~ 55 ℃, humidity should be less than 95% RH (non-condensing).
* Do not use in environments beyond the specified conditions, so as not to affect the detection accuracy or damage the equipment.
* Note the alarm point setting: low alarm point is 50ppm, high alarm point is 100ppm.
Sensors have a lifespan of approximately 36 months and require periodic inspection or replacement to ensure accuracy.
The battery is a replaceable ER14250M model (3.6V, 1100mAh), please install it correctly.
* Instrument Protection Rating is IP67, but should still avoid prolonged immersion or strong Impact.
* Response Time is less than 45 seconds, please allow enough time to ensure stable reading.
