Overview
The SAFETAK GC60-4 is an intelligent 4-in-1 Gas detector that simultaneously detects combustible gases (EX), oxygen (O2), carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S). Designed to be intrinsically safe, with a Protection Rating of up to IP67 and a fall alarm function, the instrument is suitable for continuous gas monitoring in a variety of complex industrial environments.
Features
1. Full Chinese menu interface (built-in multiple languages optional), can display all Sensor values at the same time, with automatic sensing to adjust the display direction function.
2. Intrinsically safe design, equipped with SAFETAK intrinsically safe catalytic combustion Sensor.
3. Using super intelligent Sensor identification technology, five Sensor installation positions are available for users to replace any gas type Sensor module at will.
4. Equipped with a fall alarm function, it can issue an alarm after the carrier accidentally falls to the ground.
5. Protection Rating IP67, the shell adopts TPE/ABS double-decked one-time molding technology, which has good waterproof, dustproof, anti-electromagnetic interference and anti-drop performance.

Principle
The detector adopts continuous detection mode and real-time monitoring of target gas through built-in different principle Sensors. Combustible gas (EX) adopts catalytic combustion or anti-poisoning infrared principle Sensor; oxygen (O2) and toxic gases (CO, H2S) use electrochemistry principle Sensor; carbon dioxide and hydrocarbons use infrared principle Sensor; organic compounds use semiconductor principle Sensor. The Sensor converts the gas concentration signal into an electrical signal. After processing by the main board, it is displayed on the point array LCD screen, and when the concentration exceeds the standard, it will issue an alarm through the sound and light alarm (sound alarm greater than 90dB, wide-angle red LED flashing alarm).

Steps
1. Power on: Press the power button to start the instrument.
2. Self-test: After the instrument is started, a self-test will be performed to display the Sensor value and status.
3. Detection: Place the instrument in the environment to be tested and observe the real-time gas concentration reading on the display screen.
4. Alarm Response: When any gas concentration exceeds the preset alarm limit, the instrument will issue a sound and light alarm, and corresponding safety measures need to be taken immediately.
5. Shutdown: Long press the power button to turn off the instrument.
6. Charging: Use the matching charger to charge the built-in lithium-ion battery through the charging plug.

* This product is intrinsically safe explosion-proof equipment, and the explosion-proof mark is Ex ia ⅱ C T4 Ga. Please use it in the specified explosion-proof environment.
* Do not use under conditions exceeding the Operating Ambient Temperature (-20~ 55 ° C) and Humidity (< 95% RH, non-condensing).
* Avoid strong impact or drop of the instrument, despite its anti-drop performance.
Periodically calibrate and function test the instrument to ensure detection accuracy.
* Please use the original or designated charging equipment when charging, and ensure the safety of the environment.
When the battery level is low or the instrument alarms, it should be dealt with promptly.
* Sensor modules are precision components, please follow the relevant guidelines when replacing to ensure correct installation.
When the instrument alarms, it should be immediately evacuated from the dangerous area and handled in accordance with safety procedures.
