Overview
The JINGHAI NDJ-1 rotational viscometer is a Dial viscosity measurement instrument suitable for the determination of viscosity and rheology of various fluids and semi-fluids. The instrument can be used to determine the dynamic viscosity and structural viscosity of mineral oils, Lubricants, Adhesives, paints, dyestuffs, inks and many other substances.
Features
1. Dial display, intuitive reading.
2. Wide measurement range, covering 10~ 100000mPa · s viscosity range.
3. Provide multi-speed Rotor speed, including 6, 12, 30, 60rpm, to adapt to different measurement needs.
4. For Newtonian liquids, the measurement accuracy can reach +/- 5%.
Principle
The NDJ-1 rotational viscometer works based on the principle of swirl/spin method. The instrument drives the rotor to swirl/spin at a uniform speed in the liquid to be tested, and the rotor is subjected to the viscous resistance of the liquid to form a torque. This torque is proportional to the viscosity of the liquid, and the viscosity value of the liquid can be obtained by measuring this torque and converting it.
Applications
Mineral oils, Lubricants, Adhesives, paints, dyestuffs, inks
Steps
1. Place the instrument smoothly and adjust the level.
2. According to the estimated viscosity value, choose the appropriate rotor and speed combination.
3. Immerse the rotor vertically into the sample to be tested to the specified scale line.
4. Turn on the power and start the motor to make the rotor swirl/spin in the sample.
5. After the pointer is stable, read the viscosity value from the dial.
6. After the measurement is completed, turn off the power and clean the rotor.
Notice
• Make sure the instrument is level before use.
• Select the appropriate rotor and speed according to the sample viscosity range to ensure measurement accuracy.
• The depth of the rotor immersion in the sample must comply with the regulations to avoid measurement errors.
• During measurement, wait for the pointer reading to stabilize before recording.
When the instrument is not in use, it should be properly stored to avoid deformation or damage to the rotor.
• Regularly calibrate the instrument to ensure measurement accuracy.
