Overview
JINGHAI NDJ-8S rotational viscometer is a digital (LCD) Viscometer with a 16-bit microcomputer processor as the core. The instrument has a high-subdivision drive of stepper motor, digital LCD with blue backlight display function, smooth and accurate speed, easy operation, the screen can directly display viscosity, speed, percentile torque, rotor number and the maximum viscosity value measurable at the current speed.
Features
1. High-subdivision drive of stepper motor with 16-bit microcomputer processor as the core.
2. Digital LCD screen with blue backlight, clear display.
3. Smooth and accurate rotation speed, clear key marking, programmed design, easy to operate.
4. Equipped with alarm function.
5. The screen directly displays the viscosity, speed, percentile torque, rotor number and the maximum viscosity value that can be measured at the current speed of the selected rotor.
6. The main control board and subdivision driver board are all made of patch technology, and the circuit design is based on a professional microcomputer processor, resulting in a reasonable and compact structure.
7. Measurement and correction of full scale and each gear Linearity are carried out through the PC interface, and the Measurement performance and function reach the professional level.
Principle
The Viscometer drives a rotor swirl/spin in a fluid at a constant speed through a stepper motor. The rotor swirl/spin is subjected to the viscous resistance of the fluid to generate torque, which is proportional to the viscosity of the fluid. The microcomputer processor inside the instrument detects and processes the torque signal, and finally displays the viscosity value of the fluid directly on the LCD screen through the built-in calculation program.
Applications
Chemical, petroleum, food, pharmaceutical, coatings, scientific research
Steps
1. Choose the appropriate rotor and speed combination according to the estimated viscosity value.
2. Install the selected rotor.
3. Immerse the rotor into the sample to be tested at the specified mark.
4. Turn on the power and set the required speed.
5. After the displayed value is stable, read the viscosity value displayed on the screen.
6. After the measurement is completed, turn off the power and clean the rotor.
Notice
Please read the instructions carefully before use.
• Ensure that the instrument is operated on a level and stable platform.
• When selecting the rotor and speed, the torque percentage reading should be in the range of 10% to 90% for the best accuracy.
• The depth of the rotor immersion in the liquid must reach the specified mark.
• Vibration or Impact should be avoided during the measurement process.
• After the measurement is completed, the rotor should be cleaned in time to prevent the sample from remaining corroded or affecting the next measurement.
• When not in use for a long time, please keep the instrument and accessories properly.
