Overview
The JINGHAI SNB-1 rotational viscometer is a precision measuring instrument with a 16-bit microcomputer processor and a digital liquid crystal display (with blue backlight). It has a programmed design and is easy to operate. It can directly display viscosity, speed, torque percentage, rotor number and the maximum measurable viscosity under current conditions. Measurement performance and functionality are of professional level.

Principle
The Viscometer controls a stepper motor via a microcomputer processor that drives the rotor to swirl/spin in the fluid at a set constant speed. When the rotor swirls/spins in the fluid, it is subjected to Tack resistance, which generates torque. The instrument measures this torque value and calculates the viscosity value of the fluid according to the built-in program and calibrated parameters, and finally displays the result on the LCD screen.

Steps
1. Choose the appropriate rotor and speed according to the estimated viscosity value.
2. Install the selected rotor.
3. Immerse the rotor into the sample to be tested at the specified mark.
4. Turn on the power and set the required speed by pressing the button.
5. Start the measurement and read the viscosity value after the display value is stable.
6. After the measurement is completed, turn off the power and clean the rotor.
Notice
• Please ensure that the instrument is placed horizontally before use.
• When selecting the rotor and speed, the torque percentage reading should be in the range of 10% to 100% for the best accuracy.
• When immersing in the rotor, bubbles should be avoided and the specified immersion depth mark should be ensured.
The sample temperature should be kept constant during the measurement process to obtain accurate results.
• When the instrument is not in use for a long time, please disconnect the power supply.
• Use a suitable solvent when cleaning the rotor to avoid scratching or damaging the rotor surface.
• Please use the factory-specified Power Adapter.
