Overview
The JINGHAI SNB-2 rotational viscometer is a digital (LCD) viscosity measurement instrument. It uses a 16-bit microcomputer processor and stepper motor high-subdivision drive technology. It has a digital liquid crystal display (with blue backlight) function. It rotates smoothly and accurately, and is easy to operate. It can directly display viscosity, speed, torque percentage, rotor number and the maximum measurable viscosity value under current range.

Principle
The Viscometer controls a stepper motor via a microcomputer processor to drive the rotor to swirl/spin in the sample at a set constant speed. The rotor swirl/spin is subjected to the Tack resistance of the sample to generate torque. The instrument measures this torque value and calculates the viscosity value of the sample according to the built-in program and calibrated parameters. Finally, the result is displayed on the LCD screen.

Steps
1. Install the appropriate rotor and connect the instrument.
2. Immerse the rotor into the sample to be tested at the specified mark.
3. Turn on the power and set the required speed by pressing the button.
4. Start the measurement, after the reading is stable, read the viscosity value and Miscellaneous parameters directly from the LCD screen.
5. After the measurement is completed, clean the rotor.
Notice
• Please ensure that the instrument is placed horizontally before use.
• Choose the appropriate rotor and rotational speed combination based on the estimated viscosity range.
• Avoid bubbles when immersing in the rotor and ensure that the immersion depth meets the requirements.
• Make sure the sample temperature is stable during measurement to obtain accurate results.
• Please use the matching Power Adapter (input 220V +/- 10%, 50 +/- 1Hz).
• Measurement and calibration of instrument full scale and each gear Linearity need to be carried out through PC interface.
• Be careful when cleaning the rotor to avoid bending or damage.
