Overview
The BOSEAN K-100 (EX) is a Portable gas leak detector that detects a wide range of flammable and toxic gases. The instrument uses pump-suction sampling with rapid Response capability for rapid on-site inspection. Its compact design, light weight and IP65 Protection Rating make it suitable for use in complex industrial environments.

Principle
The leak detector sucks in the environment gas through the built-in sampling pump, and the gas contacts the corresponding Sensors (such as catalytic combustion Sensor, Electrochemical Sensor, Infrared Sensor, etc.) inside the instrument. The Sensor generates corresponding electrical signals according to the concentration of the target gas, and displays real-time concentration values on the LCD screen after processing by the instrument circuit. When the gas concentration reaches a preset alarm threshold, the instrument will trigger sound, light and vibration alarms.

Steps
1. Check before starting: Make sure the Appearance of the instrument is intact and the power is sufficient.
2. Boot: Press the power button for a long time to start the instrument and wait for the system self-test to complete.
3. Zero point calibrating: In clean air, after the reading is stable, perform the zero point calibrating operation as needed.
4. Start detection: align the air inlet of the instrument with or near the area to be measured, and the instrument will automatically sample and display the gas concentration.
5. Read data: Observe the real-time concentration value displayed on the LCD screen.
6. Alarm Response: When the instrument emits sound, light or vibration alarm, appropriate safety measures should be taken immediately.
7. Shutdown: Press the power button for a long time to turn off the instrument, or wait for it to shut down automatically.
8. Charging: Connect the charger in time to charge after use.
Notice
• Do not use in environments exceeding -10~ 40 ℃ temperature range or humidity ≥ 95% RH and may condense.
• The instrument is designed to be explosion-proof, but do not remove or replace the battery in a dangerous location.
• Avoid Strong Impact or Drop of Instrument.
• Periodically calibrated to ensure detection accuracy. Sensors have a lifespan of about 24 months and need to be replaced when they expire.
• Please use the original charger when charging, the charging time is about 6 to 8 hours.
• Alarm points can be set manually as needed, but non-professionals should not modify them at will.
• When the instrument alarms, please take immediate action according to the on-site safety procedures.
• When not in use for a long time, the instrument should be charged regularly to maintain battery performance.
