Overview
GQ-DX101-EX Fixed Gas detector is a new type of detector developed with years of experience to detect the concentration of flammable or toxic and harmful gases in the air. When the concentration reaches or exceeds the preset alarm value, the controller will issue a sound and light alarm to remind safety measures to prevent explosions and poisoning accidents and ensure the safety of life and property. The product has stable signal, high accuracy, fast response, long life and short polarization time. It adopts industrial grade Sensor and explosion-proof structure design, outputs 4-20mA standard signal or connects to DOS system, and can be widely used in many industries. The shell adopts die-cast aluminum explosion-proof structure, the groove design of the upper cover can lock the shell, the front of the Sensor is downward to ensure good contact, and the wire inlet is made of explosion-proof and waterproof connector.
Features
1. Signal stability, high accuracy, fast response, long life, short polarization time.
2. Industrial Sensor with reliable performance.
3. The instrument shell is designed with explosion-proof and explosion-proof structure, with high safety rating.
4. Support 4-20mA standard signal output or directly into the DOS system, strong compatibility.
5. The shell is die-cast aluminum explosion-proof structure, and the upper cover groove is designed to lock the shell.
6. Sensor face-down design to ensure good contact with gas.
7. The line inlet adopts explosion-proof waterproof connector to adapt to harsh environment.
Principle
The gas detector detects the concentration of specific gases in the air through the built-in industrial-grade Sensor. The Sensor converts the gas concentration signal into an electrical signal, which is processed and displayed on the instrument. When the detected gas concentration reaches or exceeds the preset low alarm value or high alarm value, the controller will trigger the sound and light alarm device to issue an alarm in time.
Applications
Metallurgy, petroleum, chemical industry, municipal administration
Standards
CNEx16.0449、Exd ⅡC T6 Gb
Steps
1. Determine the installation location and install it with Wall-Mounted.
Connect DC 24V +/- 15% power supply.
3. According to the type of detection gas, set the corresponding range and alarm point through the instrument (such as combustible gas under 20% LEL, over 50% LEL).
4. Connect the signal output line (3-wire 4~ 20mA or 4-wire RS485).
5. Power on and start, and the instrument enters the working state.
6. Observe the instrument display to confirm that the reading is stable and there is no alarm.
7. Regular functional inspection and calibrating.
Notice
• Please make sure to use within the range of Ambient Temperature (-10~ 40 ℃) and Humidity (0~ 95% RH without condensation) of the instrument.
• When installing, make sure that the front (downward structure) of the Sensor is not blocked to ensure good gas contact.
• The power supply needs to be strictly DC 24V +/- 15% to avoid damage to the equipment due to voltage discrepancies.
• Explosion-proof and waterproof joints at the inlet must be firmly installed to ensure explosion-proof and waterproof performance.
The alarm point setting should be reasonably configured according to the actual detection gas and its range (refer to the gas parameter table).
• Regularly check Instrument Indication Error ( +/- 3% FS) and Response Time (< 30s) to ensure detection accuracy.
• Before maintaining or calibrating, please confirm the safety of the site and follow the relevant operating procedures for explosion-proof electrical equipment.
