Overview
FET-9NS Portable eddy current Flaw detector is a WENTAI brand equipment, suitable for online and offline flaw detection of metal pipes and bars, steel pipes, aluminum pipes and copper pipes. It uses an in-pass Probe to detect various defects on the inner wall of the tube, with high Sensitivity to detect axial defects such as longitudinal crazing, transverse defects, hidden and open crazing, and can reliably detect crazing and road injuries in the production process. The instrument adopts a fully digitalization design, supports multi-standard inspection procedures, and is convenient for users to switch product specifications. It also has input and output interfaces for automated integration.

Principle
The eddy current Flaw detector generates an eddy current in a metallic material by driving a combined Probe composed of absolute and differential coils. When the material has defects, the eddy current distribution changes, and the instrument detects these changes and collects signals. The detection signal is displayed on the screen in real time with the Impedance plan and the time base scan. Defects are identified by analyzing the signal amplitude, phase and other parameters, and sound and light alarms are output.

Steps
1. Connect Probe and power supply; 2. Select detection channel and Frequency; 3. Set gain, phase and alarm parameters; 4. Perform automatic equilibrate; 5. Start detection and observe signal display; 6. Process defects according to alarm output; 7. Use signal playback function to analyze defects; 8. Switch detection program to adapt to different specifications.
