The Onset HOBO MX100 is a low-cost, splash-proof temperature logger that wirelessly measures and transmits temperature data to mobile devices via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology. This stand-alone wireless data logger is suitable for a variety of indoor monitoring applications, allowing users to access temperature data from a mobile device within a range of approximately 30.5 meters (100 feet) without the need for dedicated equipment, internet or cables for configuration and data reading.

Principle
The MX100 temperature logger measures Ambient Temperature with a built-in Sensor and wirelessly transmits the collected data to mobile devices using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology. Users can configure the logger, set Sampling intervals, view real-time temperature charts, receive alarm notifications, and share data files through the free HOBOmobile app.

Steps
1. Download and install the free HOBOmobile app on your mobile device.
2. Bluetooth pairing and connection with the MX100 recorder through the app.
3. Configure the logger's Sampling interval, alarm and other parameters in the application.
4. Start monitoring, and the app can display temperature charts and data in real time.
5. Uninstall data, check logger status, or share data files through the application.

The wireless transmission distance is approximately 30.5 meters (100 feet) without obstacles.
The logger is powered by a non-replaceable CR2450 3V lithium battery.
* Make sure to use in a humid environment permitted by the splash-proof design to avoid submersion or high voltage Water Impact beyond its Protection Rating (IP67).
* Please pay attention to the limits of Sampling interval (1 second to 18 hours) and data storage capacity (30,000 data points) when setting.
