Overview
CHNSPEC CS-380 Multi-angle Glossiness Meter is a precision instrument including 20 °, 60 ° and 85 ° Measurement Angles, with a measurement range of 0-2000GU. Mainly used for the measurement of material surface Gloss in lame plating, plastic, printing, metal, ceramics, building materials, leather, paints and other industries.
Features
1. Multi-angle measurement: support 20 °, 60 ° and 85 ° three Measurement Angles; 2. High Accuracy: Repeatability 0~ 100GU: 0.2GU, 100~ 2000GU: 0.2% GU; 3. Large capacity storage: can store 100 master standards and 10000 samples; 4. Multiple interfaces: equipped with USB and optional Bluetooth interface; 5. Portable design: Dimension 165 * 51 * 77mm, weight about 400g, built-in 3000mAh lithium battery; 6. Fast measurement: Measurement time is only 1 second; 7. Multilingual support: Operating languages include Simplified Chinese and English.
Principle
The Glossiness Meter calculates the Glossiness value by emitting rays of light onto the material surface and measuring the intensity of the reflected light. The CS-380 uses multi-angle measurement technology at 20 °, 60 ° and 85 ° angles, respectively, to evaluate the degree of Gloss on the material surface according to the size and intensity of the reflected light spot.
Applications
Lame plating, plastic, printing, metal, ceramics, building materials, leather, paints, coatings, inks, Eletroplating, plastic electronics, Hardware
Standards
DIN 67530、ISO 2813、ASTM D 523、JIS Z8741、BS 3900 Part D5、JJG696
Steps
1. Turn on and select Measurement Angles; 2. Align the instrument measurement port on the surface of the sample to be tested; 3. Press the measurement button for measurement; 4. Read and record the Glossiness value; 5. Select the average mode or master standard and sample Measurement mode; 6. Transfer data through USB or Bluetooth interface.
Notice
* Ensure that the measurement surface is clean and pollution-free; * Operating temperature range is 0~ 40 ° C; * The relative humidity should be lower than 85% RH to avoid condensation; * Keep the instrument stable during measurement; * Regularly calibrate to ensure accuracy; * Avoid use in a strong light direct environment; * Turn off the power in time after use to save power.
