Overview
The CHNSPEC CS-580 Colorimeter is a spectrophotometer with a D/8 illumination structure. It is equipped with CLEDs Illuminant to ensure measurement accuracy and has an automatic Gloss compensation function to eliminate the influence of Glossiness on different material surfaces. The instrument has a large storage space, easy operation mode and interface, supports SCI and SCE simultaneous measurement, can transfer data via USB and use PC software for color management, and can also be connected to a micro printer. It is a cost-effective color measurement tool.

Principle
The CHNSPEC CS-580 Colorimeter is based on the spectroscopic technology platform, using D/8 (scattering Illuminant, 8 degree observation angle) illumination mode, using SCS Optical inspection engine (spectroscopic integrated system) and ETC (real-time calibrated technology) for measurement. The instrument irradiates the sample with CLEDs full-band equalized LED Illuminant, and the blue light-enhanced array Sensor receives the reflected light signal, analyzes the Light spectrum data, and can synchronously measure the data including the specular reflection component (SCI) and the specular reflection component (SCE) to calculate various chroma indicators.

Steps
1. Boot and select Operating language.
2. Use the camera viewfinder function to aim at the tested area.
3. Select Measurement mode (such as SCI/SCE) and Illuminant conditions.
4. Align the instrument measurement port with the sample and trigger the measurement.
5. View and analyze the measurement results on the display screen (such as chromatic value, color difference, etc.).
6. You can connect to a PC via USB and use the supporting software for data management, comparison, or report generation.
7, optional micro printer directly print measurement results.
