Principle
The planetary Ball mill uses the principle of planetary revolution and rotation, the grinding ball moves at high speed in the ball mill tank, and realizes the grinding of the sample through high-energy friction and Impact force, which can quickly grind the sample to below nanometers to realize the refinement, mixing and homogenization of the sample.

Steps
1. Select the appropriate ball mill material and grinding ball according to the sample characteristics.
2. Load the sample and grinding ball into the ball mill tank, pay attention to loading equilibrate.
3. Install the ball mill tank on the equipment.
4. Set the required grinding time, chill down time, running direction (forward, reverse or alternating) and speed and other parameters.
5. Start the equipment and start the grinding process.
6. After grinding, take out the ball mill tank and separate the sample from the grinding ball.
7. Clean the grinding components for next use.
Notice
• Please select the appropriate grinding tank and grinding ball material according to the sample characteristics (such as hardness, chemical properties) to avoid contamination or damage.
• When loading samples and grinding balls, attention should be paid to equilibrating, and the equipment has a compensation function, but it is still recommended to load as evenly as possible.
• The maximum speed of the equipment is 900rpm, please choose the appropriate speed according to the sample characteristics and grinding requirements, not all samples need the highest speed.
• Before grinding, confirm that the device voltage setting (100-120V or 200-240V) matches the local power supply.
• When vacuum grinding or filling with inert gas grinding, make sure to use a dedicated vacuum ball mill tank and operate it correctly.
• After grinding, clean the grinding components thoroughly in time to minimize the risk of cross-contamination of samples.
• Do not exceed the maximum handling capacity (200ml) and maximum feed size of the ball mill tank (soil material ≤ 10mm, Miscellaneous material ≤ 3mm).
• The equipment has a variety of operation modes (such as intermittent operation), please set the program reasonably according to the experimental needs to optimize the grinding effect.
