Overview
LANDTEK SL-5868P multifunctional sound level meter for environment, machinery, traffic, ships and Miscellaneous noise sound level measurement; suitable for industrial environmental protection, construction, teaching and research departments.
Features
1. Three weighted "A"/"C"/"F" options and time weighted "fast" and "slow" options
2. Measurement parameters: Lp ordinary sound level measurement, Leq equivalent continuous A sound level measurement, Lmax maximum sound level measurement, LN statistical sound level measurement
3. With DC output of 10 mV/dB
4. Can store 30 sets of measurement data and measurement status
5. Equipped with functions such as "alarm value setting", "output", "automatic shutdown and manual shutdown"
6. Use "USB data cable output" and "RS-232 data cable output" to communicate with PC
7. Also provide "Bluetooth Bluetooth ™ data output" selection
Principle
The sound level meter collects sound signals through 12.5mm condenser microphones. After Frequency Weighting (A/C/F) and Time Weighting (Fast/Slow) processing, it can measure parameters such as ordinary sound level, equivalent continuous sound level, maximum sound level and statistical sound level, and ensure measurement accuracy through built-in brate calibrated signals.
Applications
Environment, machinery, transportation, shipbuilding, industrial environmental protection, construction, teaching and research
Standards
IEC 651.2、ANSI 1.4.2
Steps
1. Install 4 AA batteries or connect an external 6V DC power supply
2. Select the desired Frequency Weighting (A/C/F) and Time Weighting (Fast/Slow)
3. Measurement parameters (Lp/Leq/Lmax/LN) and Measurement time (if applicable)
4. Start measurement and observe display data
5. Can set the alarm value (30-130dB) and enable the alarm function
6. After the measurement is completed, the data can be stored (up to 30 sets)
7. Output data to PC via USB, RS-232 or Bluetooth
Notice
• Make sure the battery is fully charged before use, and pay attention to the low voltage indicator
• Impact or contamination of the microphone during measurement
The alarm value setting range should be between 30 and 130dB
• The data storage capacity is 30 sets, and it needs to be exported in time to avoid loss
• External power input is 6V DC, 100mA, please do not use it beyond the limit
