Principle
The MC-2000C coating platings thickness gauge uses electromagnetic induction (magnetic thickness measurement method) to measure the thickness of coated platings. The instrument Probe generates a closed magnetic circuit on the surface of the part. When the distance between the Probe and the ferromagnetic base material (ie Coating thickness) changes, the magnetic circuit will change accordingly, causing changes in the magnetoresistance and Probe coil Inductance. By measuring this change, the distance between the Probe and the ferromagnetic material can be accurately calculated, resulting in the thickness of the nonmagnetic coating.

Steps
1. Measurement: Full scale thickness measurement using a single Probe.
2. Storage: The measurement data is stored in the instrument, up to 600.
3. Delete: You can delete a single suspicious data in the measurement, or delete all data in the storage area.
4. Read: Read the measurement data that has been deposited.
5. Statistics: View the average, MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum of existing data.
6 calibrate: calibrate the system.
7. Print: Connect the optional micro printer to print the Measured value.
8. Shutdown: Turn off the instrument automatically or manually.
Notice
• This instrument adopts magnetic thickness measurement method, which is suitable for the measurement of nonmagnetic Coating thickness on ferromagnetic materials.
• When measuring, ensure that the minimum measurement surface diameter is not less than φ 7mm.
• The minimum radius of curvature of the workpiece is: 1.5mm for the convex surface and 6mm for the concave surface.
• The thinnest thickness of the ferromagnetic substrate should not be less than 0.5mm.
• Ambient Temperature 0~ 40 ℃.
• Working environment relative humidity should be ≤ 90% RH.
• Please pay attention to the battery level. The icon in the upper right corner will prompt the under-voltage status.
• The maximum power consumption of the instrument is 100mw.
