Overview
MCW-3000A is an eddy current paint film Thickness measurement instrument introduced by KODIN. Measurement accuracy is enhanced by the unique automatic deviation tracking technology. Probe processes and uses new alloy materials according to German process standards, which significantly enhances the service life and accuracy of Probe.
Features
1. Measured value is more accurate with unique deviation automatic tracking technology.
2. Probe is processed according to German process standards and uses new alloy materials, which greatly improves the service life and accuracy.
3. Measurement mode: Normal mode, MIN Minimum mode, Statistical mode.
4. Measurement mode, can set the difference and the upper and lower limit alarm.
5. Powerful data management capabilities, allowing you to choose to delete individual, group, or all stored data, and store and view it in groups.
6. Calibration methods are diverse, supporting zero-point calibrating, two-point calibrating and system calibrating.
7. The shutdown mode, backlight switch can be set, and factory settings can be restored.
8. Support printing stored values or statistical values.
Storage capacity is large, a total of 6 groups, each group can store 99 measurement points.
10.3-Bit LCD digital display, resolution up to 0.1μm, Measurement range 0~ 1200μm.
Principle
MCW-3000A eddy current film Thickness measurement instrument adopts eddy current Measurement principle, which can conveniently and nondestructive measurement of the thickness of nonconductive coatings (such as paints, rubber, plastic, oxide film, etc.) on nonmagnetic metal substrates (such as copper, aluminum, zinc, tin, etc.).
Applications
Suitable for measurement nonmagnetic metal substrate (such as copper, aluminum, zinc, tin, etc.) on the nonconductive coating thickness, such as paints, rubber, plastic, oxide film.
Steps
1. According to the measurement requirements, select the appropriate Measurement mode (Normal, MIN Minimum or Statistical mode).
2. If you need to monitor, enter the Monitoring Measurement mode and set the difference and upper and lower limit alarm values.
3. Carry out the necessary calibrating (zero point calibrating, two point calibrating or system calibrating).
4. Start the measurement and the instrument will display the thickness value.
5. The measurement data can be automatically stored into groups (6 groups of 99 points each).
6. Storage data can be viewed and deleted (individually, in a group, or in its entirety) through the instrument.
7. You can choose to connect the printer to print stored values or statistical values.
Notice
• This instrument is suitable for the measurement of nonconductive coatings on nonmagnetic metal substrates, do not use for measurement of Miscellaneous material combinations.
• To ensure measurement accuracy, calibrate as needed before use.
• Please pay attention to the battery voltage prompt icon and replace the battery in time to ensure normal use.
• There are many data packets stored in the instrument, please pay attention to data management to avoid accidental deletion.
• Please refer to the user manual when operating, and set various parameters correctly (such as shutdown mode, backlight, etc.).
