The MC-3001 Coating thickness gauge is a universal full-split Coating thickness gauge launched by KODIN. It has been upgraded on the basis of the MC-3000B/S series and is a full-range, multi-functional split coating platings thickness gauge. The instrument host can be configured with all KODIN split Probes. Users can choose one or more Probes for arbitrary matching according to their needs to realize the use of various customized Probes such as magnetic, nonmagnetic and internal anti-corrosion. Measurement range and measurement materials vary according to the Probe model.

Using magnetic and eddy Current thickness measurement methods, nondestructive measurement of nonmagnetic or nonconductive coating thickness on various substrates is possible. 6 kinds of probes including F0.5, F1.2, F3, F5, F9 and N1.2 can be used. 3. With temperature compensation function, equipped with Kedian's new "phase-locked loop" technology. 4. With screen flip function, you can manually select flip to display measurement data. 5. Adopt 2.4-inch TFT high definition color screen (320 * 240 pixels), large digital display. 6. Measurement speed can choose two modes of single measurement and continuous measurement. 7. The MC-3001 Coating thickness gauge uses two thickness measurement methods: magnetic Induction and eddy Current. For nonmagnetic coatings (such as zinc, aluminum, paints, etc.) on magnetic metal substrates (such as steel, iron, alloys, etc.), the principle of magnetic Induction is used for measurement; for nonconductive coatings (such as rubber, paints, plastics, etc.) on nonmagnetic metal substrates (such as copper, aluminum, zinc, etc.), the principle of eddy Current measurement is used. The instrument nondestructive measurement of coating thickness through the electromagnetic interaction between the Probe and the coating and the substrate.
The instrument is suitable for measurement of the thickness of nonmagnetic coatings such as zinc, aluminum, chromium, copper, rubber and paints on magnetic metal substrates such as steel and alloys, and the thickness of nonconductive coatings such as rubber, paints, plastics and anodic oxide coatings on nonmagnetic metal substrates such as copper, aluminum, zinc and tin.
Select the appropriate Probe according to the measurement requirements (e.g. F0.5, F1.2, F3, F5, F9, N1.2). 2. Connect the Probe to the host. 3. Turn it on and select the display language (Chinese or English) and Measurement unit (metric or imperial) as needed. 4. Choose single measurement or continuous Measurement mode according to the application. 5. Use one of the three calibration methods to calibrate the instrument, and use the basic calibrating method to correct the probe system error if necessary. 6.
