Overview
YUE FENG SBDY-1 digital whiteness meter is a precision instrument for measuring whiteness. Measurement range is 0~ 100%, Precision is 0.1, using D65 Illuminant and 45/0 illumination conditions, suitable for a variety of material whiteness detection.
Features
1. Has RS-232 Communication interface, can be used to connect the printer.
2. Use effective, low loss switching power supply to make Reliability higher.
3. Adopt high-quality imported components to ensure more stable operation and longer service life.
4. Adopting a simple light path design makes it easier to use and maintain.
5. The use of reasonable sample holder and movable platform design can effectively avoid the phenomenon of light leakage from the measurement orifice.
6. Use the national calibration whiteboard to transfer the correction value to make the Measured value more accurate.
Principle
Based on the light reflection principle, the whiteness meter uses D65 Illuminant and 45/0 illumination conditions to calculate the whiteness value by measuring the blue light reflected by the sample (R457 whiteness formula), ensuring measurement accuracy and Stability.
Applications
Whiteness meter is widely used in paper, Spinning & weaving products, plastics, coatings and other industries of whiteness detection.
Standards
The national calibration whiteboard is used to transfer the correction value, which meets the relevant whiteness measurement standards.
Steps
1. Connect the power supply and turn on the instrument.
2. Use the national calibration whiteboard for calibration.
3. Place the sample in the sample holder to ensure no light leakage.
4. Start the measurement and read the whiteness value of the digital or LCD display.
5. Optional connection printer output data.
Notice
• Ensure that the power supply is 220V +/- 10% to avoid voltage instability affecting the measurement.
• Maintain the light path system regularly to keep it clean.
• Avoid ambient light interference during measurement and ensure sample seat sealing.
• Turn off the power supply in time after use to prolong the life of the instrument.
