Overview
The YUE FENG 755B UV spectrophotometer is a fully functional analytical instrument with a four-digit LCD liquid crystal display for clear and intuitive measurement values. Principle
The ultraviolet spectrophotometer works based on the principle of selective absorption of ultraviolet-visible light by substances. After the continuous Light spectrum emitted by the light source is split by the monochromator, monochromatic light of a specific wavelength is obtained. When the monochromatic light passes through the sample solution under test, part of the light is absorbed. The instrument calculates the light transmitance (T%) or Absorbance (A) of the sample by measuring the intensity of the transmitted light and comparing it with the reference light intensity, and then performs quantitative analysis according to Lambert-Beer's law.

Steps
1. Turn on and warm up to stabilize the instrument.
2. Select Measurement mode (e.g. ABS Absorption mode).
3. Under ABS file, use blank solution for background zero adjustment.
4. Absorbance (ABS value) measurement of known standard solutions.
5. Calculate the coefficient F value as F = C/ABS (C is the standard solution concentration).
6. Switch the instrument to F and adjust the F value to the calculated value (F value range: 1-1999).
7. Switch to C (concentration) file to directly measure the concentration value of the unknown sample.
Notice
The instrument should be placed on a stable, vibration-free workbench protected from direct sunlight.
* After starting the machine, it needs to be preheated for a certain period of time, and the measurement will be carried out after the light source and electronic system are stable.
* Colorimetric dishes need to be cleaned before and after use, and the transparent surface should be kept clean and scratch-free.
* Colorimetric dishes must be placed correctly in the sample chamber during measurement and ensure that the light transmission direction is consistent.
* Deuterium lamps and tungsten lamps are consumables and need to be replaced in time after reaching the end of their service life.
When connecting external devices (e.g. computers, printers), ensure that the interfaces match and the communication parameters are set correctly.
* Wavelength Precision and Photometric Precision are regularly calibrated to ensure Reliability of measurement results.
