Overview
KSJ MG6-F2 smart Glossometer is a gloss measurement instrument designed and manufactured with reference to international standard ISO2813 and Chinese national standard GB/T9754. Its technical parameters comply with ASTM D523, GB/T13891, GB7706, GB8807 and other standards. The performance indicators meet the requirements of the first-level working machine in the national JJG 696-2002 Measurement verification regulations. The Gloss value can be traced back to the national benchmark of Shanghai Institute of Measurement and Testing Technology (SIMT).

Principle
The Glossometer works according to the principle of mirror reflection. Standard light source is emitted to the surface to be measured, and the reflected light intensity at the angle of reflection of the standard mirror surface is measured by the receiver, and the intensity is compared with the reflected light intensity of the polished black Glass standard plate with a refractive index of 1.567 under the same conditions to calculate the Glossiness value of the measured surface.

Steps
1. Turn it on, and the instrument performs self-diagnosis and self-calibration.
2. Select the desired Measurement Angles mode (60 ° or 85 °).
3. Smooth fit the measurement port (size 12 * 28mm) to the surface of the tested sample.
4. Press the measurement button to complete the measurement.
5. View the measurement results and related statistics (such as average, group sequence, etc.) on the display screen.
6. You can connect to the computer through a USB adapter and use the supporting software for data management and analysis.
Notice
• Make sure that the instrument has passed the self-calibration before measurement, and the measurement port is clean and pollution-free.
• During measurement, the measurement port of the instrument should be tightly and smoothly fitted to the measured surface to avoid light leakage affecting the Measurement accuracy.
• Instrument Indication Error is +/- 1.5GU or +/- 1.5%, please pay attention to the error range when using.
• Pay attention to the battery level, and replace the battery in time when there is a low power prompt.
• The storage space of the instrument is limited. When the full storage prompt appears, please export the data in time.
Do not use and store the instrument in a strong electromagnetic interference, high temperature, high humidity or corrosive environment.
• Please use a soft dry cloth when cleaning the instrument and avoid the use of chemical solvents.
• When not in use for a long time, please remove the battery.
